In September of 2012 we lost Heather VanHoozer because of terrible decisions made by a drunk driver.  Her family lost their only child, and the pain is still felt every single day. 

The Victim Services team at MADD North Texas was there to help provide emotional support, guidance through the justice process and connecting us with other victims who've endured similar tragedies.  In the subsequent years I've wanted to keep Heather's memory and spirit alive by sharing her story in hope those who hear it make better decisions.
